Fifth Squad Arrival

Thysix exited the senkimon over the desert wasteland of the Sahara Desert. The simple gust of wind made the sands ripple and roll, obscuring the dunes and valleys of the desert. Behind him, other seated officers were exiting with their patrols. Thysix had set up a defense of overlapping circles so that almost every area had at least two or more groups of shinigami protecting it. In the center was the Captain and Vice Captain (though he had not taken the senkimon yet). Thysix covered his eyes as a strong wind blew sand to where he was standing, high above the ground.

"Move to your positions and set up defenses. Avoid contact with the spiritually awakened humans, including the Bounto," the Captain ordered, with full knowledge that this race was supposedly living in the far reaches of the continent. As the patrols began to spread out to their respective locations, Thysix moved down to where a set of tents were located. It was here that his Gigai was located, a physical body that was used only to replenish energy, or, at times, go undercover and interact with locals. As he stared into the dead, soulless eyes of the Gigai, the captain wondered if he would ever need to use it. It was improbable, considering how few captain level arrancar and hollows there were, and how few of those matched Thysix's caliber in skill.

He pried his eyes away from the Gigai and moved into another tent. It was sort of a small cottage, with a mattress already laid out for sleeping. The leader of fifth squad took a seat on the floor of the tent and began to meditate, his thoughts drifted for a while, sometimes on tactics and strategies, other times thinking of when his Vice Captain would arrive. The thoughts slowed until he was at an equilibrium with his environment, fully aware of his surroundings. It was the best way to rest while still being most alert for a threat. Here, he listened and sensed expectantly for his enemies and allies alike.

Zeal stepped out of the senkimon into the arid climate of the desert. The dunes shifted as the wind blew countless particles of sand from the mounds. It's almost as if they're dancing to a sonatina, thought Zeal, Sontina, that captain is really beginning to rub off on me. Zeal laughed quietly as he watched the individual squads scurry to their respective positions. He studied them for a bit before the wind echoing off of the strings of Thysix's violin reminding him of the current objectives he was obligated to do. With a sigh he descended towards the ground.

Zeal maneuvered around the tents until he found the one that held the unmistakable reiatsu of his captain.
Hello Thysix, said Zeal as he entered his Captain's temporary home, It seems you forgot something. Zeal stated sardonically as he placed the violin at Thysix's feet.
Glancing around Zeal decided to get down to business, So what did I miss? he said sitting down in front of his Captain, let's hope not much...

Thysix felt a shift of reiatsu as his Vice Captain finally arrived in the real world. He didn't move from his meditative position until he felt Zeal walk into the tent which he occupied. The Captain opened his eyes to look at his Vice Captain, and was surprised to see a violin at his feet. It was only after seeing it that Thysix realized he had left the instrument behind in the fifth squad barracks, which made him smile and say, "You went into my room to check if I had forgotten something? How very considerate of you Zeal." His voice was not harsh, but light as he joked with an old friend. Thysix was forever forgetting important items. Hell, if the soul phone had not been sent ahead of him, he probably would have forgotten it. He was glad his Vice Captain was able to grab his violin, it would save him from hours of boredom in this wasteland.

"I'm to inform you that while in the living world our power is sealed," said the captain, showing the seal, a lily of the valley, on the right side of his chest. "I hope that's not a problem." Thysix picks up the violin and stands up, towering over his frail Vice Captain. He walked swiftly over to a small table and placed his violin on it. He then turned around with a phone in his hand, "Keep this with you at all times," he said, handing Zeal the phone, "It should beep if there is a hollow around."

Zeal accepted the pager from his burly captain turning it over in has had twice, and opening and closing the device a few times before placing it in his robes. That's quite convenient. He said. After that matter had been sorted out, Zeal checked his chest assuring what Thysix said was true. The solid black lily of the valley stood out on his pale complexion, like a dark black vessel in a sea of endless white. He replaced his shirt and nodded Not a problem, doesn't seem like much actions happening here anyways, said Zeal glancing out towards the endless expansion of desiccated desert, as if examining, no, almost hoping for an outside force to disprove his previous statement and save him from this secluded boredom. He would welcome a challenge with open arms as an alternative to baking in this giant sandy oven.

Zeal looked once again at his brawny captain, his build made him seem more like that of a Kenpachi, some may even find it slightly comical that he played as delicate an instrument as a violin. Now that the conversation had died down Zeal felt something needed to be done, rather than waiting for something to catch them off guard. Should we go scout out the area? Zeal asked quizzically Or is there a town nearby where we could test out these Gigai? Zeal finished as he held up the makeshift bodies. Zeal waited for Thysix's response to his inquires.

Chimes echoed through the air as a Senkai gate appeared near a set of tents. The white light that appeared from it engulfed the visual spectrum entirely. A figure was able to emerge and remain unknown for a short time, that is until the gate closed and a butterfly landed on it's shoulder. The figure had been the Vice captain of squad one, her insignia on her shoulder, and her regular shinigami outfit on she looked like just another vice captain. After several moments several Senkai gates opened with Kido corp members along with division 12 members that started setting up devices and other technical things that were needed to create a Garganta. She stopped a nearby shinigami and spoke to him in a somewhat eager tone.

"Bring Captain Thysix and his Vice here please."

She then started preparations for the Garganta by activating a Bakudo.

"Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens. Bakudo, 77, Tenteikūra."

Small black lines formed like so many times before it and everything went as it had before. The blue box formed like other times and Kenya spoke up addressing all the shinigami except the ones around her.

"To all able bodied shinigami, Report to Sector 537 of the living world. This is the staging area for our assault on Hueco Mundo.That is all."

She then over looked the preperations while she awaited for Captain Thysix.

Thysix was just about to respond that he was up for a patrol when another shinigami entered the room. He looked rushed and flustered, and spoke quickly, like what was happening was urgent. ”Captain Thysix and Vice-Captain Zeal,” he said, ”Vice-Captain Kenya would like to see you, I think it's about the invasion!” He ended in an excited tone, then rushed off presumably to proceed with his own preparations. Thysix raised eyebrow at the now empty space where he stood, thinking of the first Tenteikūra. ”I believe theres been a change of plans,” the Captain said to Zeal, ”We're invading Hueco Mundo.”

He let that sink in for a moment. Thysix and Zeal would be going into the most Hollow infested place that has ever existed to kill the most dangerous creatures known to Seretei. The Captain wondered what would force the Captain Commander to such drastic action. Was he afraid that the Espada were gathering forces? No, more likely this was just an opportunity that Seretei couldn't pass up. With the King of the Hollows gone, a power-struggle would erupt creating internal conflict. The Hollows would be left unorganized and vulnerable.

So Thysix only turned to the exit and left the tent, beckoning Zeal to follow. He looked on to see shinigami rushing about for preparations of the Garganta and other invasion plans.Thysix found the Vice-Captain among the crowd of other shinigami and walked to her, lightly pushing others out of his way. ”Vice-Captain Kenya, what is this talk of invasion?” he asked, extending his hand in greeting. He already knew the answer, but he wanted to hear it from the Captain Commanders Vice.

Zeal was waiting for a response from his captain, when a shinigami ran into the room. Zeal didn't recognize his face in particular, but vaguely remembered seeing him around. In between exasperated, deep breaths of air he managed to get out ”Captain Thysix and Vice-Captain Zeal, Vice-Captain Kenya would like to see you; I think it's about the invasion!” the man then, promptly, stumbled out of the room, off to his other duties. Zeal turned to his Captain, slightly confused, yet curious about what exactly just happened. That’s when he heard the words: ”I believe there’s been a change of plans, we're invading Hueco Mundo.”

Zeal had a hard time hiding the surprise on his face. One second I’m ready to go patrol, the next I’m getting ready to invade the center of…a… he searched for a strong enough word to express his feelings, …a virtual hell, in more ways than one. Absorbed in his thoughts he barely noticed Thysix beckoning for him to follow.

The bright light once again blinded zeal for a moment, as his eyes adjusted he saw a sea of black and white moving across the yellow sand. Fallowing Thysix, they eventually came to Kenya. ”Vice-Captain Kenya, what is this talk of invasion?” said Thysix as he waded through shinigami. Zeal positioned himself next to the captain, silent, but listening.

The vast amount of Shinigami running about made Kenya giggle a little on the inside. It wasn't often she saw shinigami run around like chickens with their head cut off. She then noticed, by chance, Captain Thysix with his hand out. She formally shook it and nodded at his Vice captain. Turning to look at the preparations a moment she turned back to the captain.

"Ah yes, we are going to invade Hueco Mundo due to their state of disorientation they are having. Assuming from the reports of all Espada returning to Hueco Mundo and the reports from Captain Saito in Hueco undo we are due to arrive and kill all Arrancar. The order stands to not kill regular Hollow unless threatened."

She turned back just in time to see some shinigami drop a large box.

"HAY, THAT STUFF IS FRAGILE!!!"

She yelled as she turned back to the captain.

"The captain Commander will most likely be here as well."

She turned back to watch over the preparations again.

Hezro slowly walked out of the senkaimon gate as he was escorted by the hell butterfly. His eyes slowly moved from side to side scanning those who had already arrived. Only a few Captains had shown up but this was no surprise to him. Hezro was quite early in the matter. It had only been a few minutes since Kenya had issued the orders to the others. Hezro looked up to the beating sun of the African desert. They would be going from one desert to another, how ironic. He didn't say anything but waited for the questions to start rolling in. He knew this was a drastic act and knew questions would follow it. He took his place at the front of the shinigami present and waited for them to come to him with their concerns.

Chimes bellowed as another Senkai gate opened. as a man stepped out with a cigarette in his mouth and a hell butterfly escorting him. As soon as he stepped out he left the Senkai gate open and spoke up.

"My Vice will be along momentarily.It has been some time hasn't it Hezro-san?"

Yakura spoke in a rather kind an aloof tone. He noticed Kenya and avoided eye contact and even avoided speaking to her. He made note on how late his Vice was but didn't give it any thought as he was sure she would make it on time. He did however make note of the other captain and his vice.

"Ah, captain Thysix I believe, and his vice.....Mr. Nerel I believe."

He extended his hand and gave a kind smile as he spoe up again.

"I know we don't exactly know of each other but I've read a lot about you two."

He continued his smile and closed his eyes.

Tadashii Kaemasu steps from the Senkei gate, the same one the recently appointed captain commander, Hezro Hittori, had used. His foot softly hits the ground, stirring up dust, even as the padded foot of a wolf hits the ground. Few captains, If any, would know the story of this wolf, and None of the ones currently attending this meeting would, except for perhaps Hezro, if he had been briefed. Mikazuki is more than a pet, but she is a partner in battle, his already amazing prowess enhanced by her aid.

Kenya is already here, As are the Taicho of the Fifth and second division, And the Fukutaicho of the Fifth. Tadashii is not personally Acquainted with a single one of them. He is somewhat of a distant figure, Not investing much time into knowing people, beyond those he directly fights along-side. The old captain commander was a friend of his. As for this one...That remains to be seen. He deserves respect however, That much is for sure.

The Gate closes behind him as the wolf's tail exits, a swipe stirring up a little sand under her.

[b]Ah. Taicho Thysix and Yakura. And Fukutaicho Nerel..It seems we are the first ranking officers to come to the staging point.

Yakura was growing tired of waiting for his Vice captain. His cigarette was burning down and so was his patients. He turned just as she arrived. The Senkai gate closed as she walked to her position behind Yakura and off to the side. Yakura turned to her and gave a light smile. As he turned back he spoke to the Captain Commander.

"Ah, My Vice has arrived and that is all of my squad that is coming. sir."

Yakura turned to several of the captains and just watched them and the shinigami running around, making it a point to ignore Kenya.

Zeal watched the Senkai gate open and close once again, seeing yet another vice captain walk out. The desert that had once been a empty wasteland, was now, well, a full wasteland. It seemed it was the place to be for people soul society. Each time a new Captain strutted down like they owned the place, although each time, they were met with a formal bow from Zeal. He was proud, to say the least, that Africa had been chosen to be the staging ground for the invasion. I mean, thought Zeal it was Division Five turf... his thoughts trailed off as he asked the question that had been egging him on for quite a while "Captain commander," said Zeal as he, once again, bowed "When are we planning on beginning the invasion? Zeal waited for an answer looking up to the sky for other late arrivals.

(shitty post, due to all this work i gotta do, but hey its something)

Hezro hardly moved from his current position as the Lieutenant asked his question. Hezro assumed everyone else was wondering the same thing so he decided to answer at once.

"We will be living shortly. We are currently waited on those who have yet to arrive and we will leave once everyone is prepared." Hezro said to Zeal.

He looked around a moment after that and simply stared at the wasteland that was Africa. Hezro could still see some of the destruction that the espada had caused earlier in the year that the poor humans had still yet to fix. He was ready to end the humans suffering that the Espada had caused then. Then he turned to Kenya and looked at her a moment. She was in her war uniform and was slightly odd to see her wearing it. He had grow accustomed to her old attire. Not even the sight of her could calm his mind though. He was to focused on the task at hand. He secretly hoped the others would take all day, but knew his actions must be taken as soon as possible. The espada had to die.

(Im giving the espada till friday to complete there activity checkup, Saturday we will enter Hueco Mundo)
