As the "meeting of the ages" ended, the green-eyed 3rd Division Captain nearly lackadaisically filed out of the over-sized hall. Upon exiting, he briefly stopped, turned his head right and tipped his straw hat, signaling to his nosy Vice Captain to follow. Seyrai had been in hiding during the entire preceding, only noticed by Gin due to the fact that it was her norm to "be in the know". Before she could reach his position, he'd already turned and began to make his way towards the exit of the 1st Division barracks. "Seiyuuki was pretty excited" he said, chuckling as he patted the hilt of his zanpakuto with his left hand. He'd known that she probably was a little upset at the lack of action, especially so due to her strong sense of justice. Always one to take her feelings into consideration, his face straightened momentarily as he said "Next time Yuuki!"
Once outside, Gin stopped to deeply breathe in the spirit particle rich air of Seireitei. The stale air of the Captains Meeting Hall, mixed with the swirling reiatsu of the hot headed captains, was a souring feeling compared to this. His fancy overcoat, and haori fluttered silently in the cool breeze that swept through the maze like walkways. After his nostalgic moment, he continued his way towards his home, the 3rd division barracks. "Quite the fierce Captain Commander, Vice Captain combo that 1st division has, huh Sey?" he questioned his Vice Captain that paced herself beside him. His question was more rhetorical than anything, and she fully understood, yet he gauged her answer by the eye-brow raising look on her face. Continuing the walk, thoughts of the long road to stabilizing Soul Society were at the forefront of Gin's concerns. This could not be achieved through mediocre efforts, hence why mounds of paperwork had to be filled out detailing each squads mission status.
Finally reaching 3rd Division Barracks, more notably the Captains Office, Gin removed his straw hat and sat it on a very comfortable couch near the entrance. A stack of papers patiently awaited his attention atop his sturdy desk. He nodded towards them as if to say, "I'll get to you soon enough", before taking a seat, and eventually lying down on another comfortable couch located near the far left wall of the office. "Plans, Seyrai?" he asked his Vice Captain as she stood nearby. As he awaited her answer, Gin closed his eyes, visually shutting out the world as he prepared for a much deserved sleep. He'd figured to rest up before his assistance was needed elsewhere.
